Information sur le ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux
The Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux maintains relations with the authorities from other countries or states, in accordance with the Québec government's policy on international relations. The government’s policy is developed by the Ministère des Relations internationales . Essentially, the role of the policy is to extend Québec’s influence and further the province’s development at the commercial, economic, cultural, political and social levels.
Throughout the world, health, social services and the development of quality services are major concerns and constitute priority issues for numerous governments. Year after year, the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, in partnership with its healthcare institutions, welcomes numerous representatives from governments interested in various aspects of Québec’s system. Relationships develop and sometimes partnerships are formed for the benefit of all interested parties. Within this perspective, representatives from the MSSS and the healthcare system also carry out certain missions abroad.
Exchanging and sharing experiences and know-how are concrete ways to improve our system. The experience of others can assist us in finding interesting solutions that may be useful in Québec. In addition, on the strength of its expertise, Québec can offer support to the authorities of other countries that wish to develop or improve their health and social services systems.
Health is without a doubt a major element in the development of a people.
If you live abroad and wish to settle in Québec and work in our health and social services network, visit the Website of the Ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles to obtain further information on this subject.
